Great ear buds
This is my second pair of Westone 2 earbuds after I lost the first. I am a musician and use them as stage monitors. During the week I use them to continuously listen to what I will be performing later. The clarity is exceptional. There isn't as much bass response as some but I like it without the boominess. Every other frequency is clear and smooth. I strongly prefer the foam for long time comfort and 95% blockage of external sound, even while mowing.

Sweet spot
These seem to be the sweet spot in the Westone 1/2/3/4 series. Bass and treble are more balanced than the Westone 3 but better extension than the Westone 1. Sounds similar to Ultimate Ears UE700.
