True Masterpiece!
Westone..... where to start.
As pioneers in this particular category, I certainly had only the highest expectations. I want to say in advance that I was NOT let down....
The 4 way driver was something I didnt quite understand at first. I own the UM3 Headphones, and have loved them from the day I bought them (3 Years ago) until the day they were passed on to my younger brother. I was expecting to hear a much deeper presence in the bass response, but that was not the case. Instead, I hear more bass, but not the kind everyone expects. The level of detail on low frequency is impeccable. The detail reminds me the type of detail you get in mids and the highs with your typical balanced armature driver. So define, nothing is missed. The thing that has impressed me the very most about these monitors has been their ability to show true definition and variance in the low frequency. I constantly am hearing things that I never heard before. Even on my UM3's.
The detachable cable is great. I was worried that I might lose the cable, but I saw that the replacement cables, and different colors and lengths are available. That might actually come in handy. They come with more eartips than I think I could go through in a year, as well as the carrying case (vault) which is about the most sturdy way to carry headphones as I could ever imagine.
I love the way these monitors slip in my ear and practically disappear. They may as well be invisible, or just part of my ear. I have used them on the go, running (in the short time my lungs could last), walking, at work, and in just about every daily activity my exciting life offers. They dont budge. The Removable Cable has a coating of a clear plastic like material that acts as almost a memory type wire. So I bent them and wrapped them around my ear, and have never looked back. Everytime I pull them out, they are already in the perfect position to hold snug to my ear.
Overall I have been thoroughly impressed. They are expensive, I will certainly say that, but you cannot expect to get this level of sound quality (and personal satisfaction) out of your average so called "High End" headphones. If these are within your budget I would certainly buy them. You wont be sorry. If they are slightly over your budget.... well they arent for everyone. But you can always try and work a deal :)
9.8 out of 10 (only thing docking it is price)

Awesome sound
This is a great earphone for classical and live music. I also find it enjoyable with pop music due to the relatively stronger bass. The bass is tight and does not muddle the sound. The sound stage is good, feels a bit like listening to hi-fi in a room. The weakness part of the sound is the mid-range, the vocal feels a bit too laid back - not as engaging.
Build quality wise this is top notch. The wire is braid which helps reduce noise from wire movements. This comes with many different tip size and a choice of silicon or foam. The silicon tips fit very nicely. I don't use the foam tip as it seems to emphasize the bass and suppress the mid-range.
The earphone also comes with a hard case. Good for protecting the earphone but not so good for carrying it around in the pocket as it is rather bulky.
Giving four stars because it is expensive for marginal sound improvement. This is not a wow-factor earphone. This is an earphone that improves on the details.

Best Sounding In-Ear Monitors I have Found!!
These in-ear monitors are very well balanced between the bass and mids and the highs are not overly bright. Nice wide soundstage and surprisingly loud on my Creative Zen X-Fi2, All my files are converted to mp3@320 as well as Flac files as I am the manager of an internet radio. I tend to listen to my Flac files for personal listening pleasure and the mp3 are for the radio. These in-ear monitors are the real deal and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in upgrading their listening experience!!
