Great one driver IEM for the value
I will choose this over Shure. I have 2 Shure IEM that had cables broken. This UM1's thin cables are virtually indestructible under abuse. The sound quality is probably the best for a 1 driver monitor. Lacking bass but the clarity is supreme.

Nice IEM's
Tried these out, and liked them. They don't have any of that exaggerated bass or hyperextended high frequencies. They do shine in the midrange, especially with vocals. Overall a better choice than those "artist endorsed" monitors. They come with many different adaptors for a custom fit and a carrying case. Good bang for the buck!

drummer friendly!
I have used the shure in ears for years and always the same problem, they don't stay in my ears well. However, the braided cable on these westones are light and feel like air behind your ears, you'll never know it's there! The drivers performance is on point with the lower level shure products (scl2, 215's, ect) but the price is considerably lower. I'm a drummer, and a very active one at that, if these in ears please me, they should not disappoint anyone. They are a great product. The amount of low end they'll handle with surprise you. They come with some great tips as well, I love mine and may even buy one of westones upper end products because I'm so impressed by these =)

Best choice for money
Excellent sound, amazing sound resolution, neutral tonal balance, good noise isolation, braided cord is not twisted and almost no microphonics, comfortable fit, decent carrying case.
