Excellent Choice! The Balanced Armature is Superp!

I purchased 2 of These headphones, one in red (for my wife) and one in blue (for myself).

Anyways, I have been doing some research on some good, in ear headphones, that arent designed for bass heads, but instead for great detail and imagery. I wanted them to be honest, and natural sounding, and all the people I had heard from seemed to agree on getting a balanced armature headphone. Westone was by far was the unanimous winner when i would inquire about a good brand for such a technology. These are a pricey line, so my wife and I agreed on these. Both of us are thrilled with the choice. These fit VERY snug in our ears, and come with the right size tips to hold them in our ear, and provide us with enough sound isolation to block out the outside noises. When i first got them, and tried them on, the fit was VERY awkward, but when I changed out the tips to the comply size that fits me, it was the most secure fit I have ever had with earbuds. They do not create any pressure on my inner ear, and I do not feel any fatigue when wearing them over time. I noticed immediately when i saw my wife wearing hers, that this is the exact style we see musicians wearing when we go to live shows and concerts. So I think we are on the right track. I like the cable wrapping over my ear, as does my wife. It gives it the sport style fit, and keeps them nice and snug, but they feel just as good with the cable going down instead. Overall, Very satisfied with these headphones. They are worth every penny. And the hype is actually for a good reason on these. I would like to save up and get the UMX3! I can only imagine the improved sound quality with 3 drivers. If mine sound this good, with a single driver, the 3 drivers must sound ridiculous.

Got these for IEM's for church. So far I love them. Don't have as much low end as I would like but I've read they will get better. Super comfortable. I would recommend these for a good start up IEM
