Great product - love it.
I got this to install on my boat so that we can use Bluetooth to connect our iphones to the stereo (use like a remote control). I installed this knob on the other side of the boat so everyone will leave me alone when they want to change a song/turn the volume up/down and I can focus on driving.
Works like a champ. My radio has a AUX 2 input, just ran the wires to the input and the power lines to my radio power so that it comes on and off when my radio does. Simple as that. Works great.
I think I will also use this in a Jeep that we are building. This way I can leave the stock old radio in the dashboard, and get an amp, speakers, and this device to link with a iphone. This way there is no system for kids to steal, handles weather good, and low visibility when the doors/top are off the Jeep.
