This unit works fine. It is easy to install and set up. We get great reception with most of our station towers 10 to 25 miles away. It has a wide range for reception.

pros: this antenna gets me about 30-36channels 95 % in high def claims some even 1080 on the info on tv .i believe it had dish direct tv and cable in the past this thing gives me deeper color and better clarity.amazing an antenna could actually give me better picture quality.but man it does very impressive sound quality as well gives me dolby digital surround sounds better than my pioneer bluray player .i am very pleased with this antenna put it together and had it on the roof and ran wire to set grounded it in about an hour and a half total start to finish .i get a public history channel and similar channel to discovery.also there is a movie channel .who needs cable or a dish i could never watch all those channels anyway .i get the programming i need without the hassle or payment. cons: cant get free internet thru it (lol) .if i were to look as hard as i could to find something wrong with this product .the only thing i could really wine about the winegaurd would be that it is large but i never notice it up there honestly i had forgotten i even had it . as far as reception issues with storms no worse than direct tv or any dish service in 6 months only had interrupted service maybe 5 times in storms that were so bad you probably should have shut the tv off anyway .i like this antenna so much i cant find any real issues with it.it has already paid for itself in savings if i had a rotator i could probably pull in more stations.

Free HD TV

Live 50 miles NW of NYC and managed to get a few HD channels. Installed a preamplifier just below antenna and got a few dozen channels. Installation was straight forward and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Picture quality on HD channels is excellent, the preamp made a big difference for my area.
