Good monitor and easy to install.
The installation hardware is easy to use and install and the monitor works just fine and seems sturdy. I haven't tried the IR feature yet.
The only downside to this monitor that I found is that the users manual that came in the box is very brief and the English translation is very poor (I still can't figure out a couple of the sentences in it).
There are two wiring harnesses that come out of the unit- one is black and the other is white. The manual only shows one harness coming out of the unit. The black wiring harness houses the two audio cables (left and right) and the two video cables (Video 1 & 2) and is shown on the user's manual wiring diagram.
The white wiring harness has three wires coming out of it and I figured that they were for the dome light control but wasn't sure. I e-mailed XO directly and got a reply in a few days with confirmation that the wires from the white harness are for the dome lights on the unit. The three wires are colored white (power), black (ground), and yellow (ACC door).
There are no inputs for AV installed on the outside of the unit itself so if you want that feature you will have to make them yourself.
The cables for the AV are already fitted with male RCA ends for easy internal installation in the headliner so there is no splicing required and you can connect to commercially made RCA style cables.
