Very happy with this Laptop VESA mount tray

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tray. The metal is substantial and fits nicely under my 13" MacBook Pro. The VESA mount fits perfectly with my Uplift Desk Range Dual Monitor Arm. It has a nice mat black painted or powder-coated finish. Since the VESA adapter attaches directly to the surface that holds the monitor, your monitor arm's vertical angle must be sufficient to tip the tray enough to hold the laptop in the correct position. My monitor arm can rotate up a full 90 degrees, so this works well with this tray. It has exceeded my expectations.

Your only option!

I've shopped around a bit for a laptop tray that can hold a 13" MacBook Pro, and this seems to be the only one. I mean, there are other trays that can hold a small MacBook Pro, as long as you're OK with maybe two inches of metal sticking out from under the left and the right of the laptop. I personally wanted a tray that would be completely hidden under the MacBook Pro, and this is that.

Other people have asked about the measurements of this tray on some other sites, and nobody else seems to have given any answers, so I've gotten my trusty tape-measure out, and will give rough measurements here. The width at it's widest point (the bottom) appears to be 300 mm exactly. At the top, the width reduces to about 275 mm before the rounded corners. The depth is 260 mm. Excellent product overall. Very sturdy (and heavy) construction. There are some little sticky pads attached to hold the laptop off the metal; these don't stick too well, but that's a minor quibble as you can just choose where you want them and glue them back down in a few minutes with some typical super glue.

Anyway, if you're looking to set up your work-from-home office, and you have a smaller laptop that you want to hold up with a monitor arm, then buy this or buy nothing!
