XS batteries are priced the same everywhere but I would recommend buying from Sonic because of the great customer service and fast and free shipping. Cant beat that on a 60 pound battery.

I used to have just a stock battery in the front of my 2006 Ford Exployer and ran a 2400RMS stereo system with stock alternator, but now switching out my old stock battery with this juiced up my whole vehicle alot! You could tell the difference by my lights not dimming at all at night which they used to do with my old battery. You could also tell by my voltage drops not being as bad like my old stock battery had it dropping down to under 12 volts, now the lowest I've seen is 12.5 volts or so in idle and that was with high power sucking from it from my 2400rms stereo system at full tilt. If you have the extra cash to invest in a battery like this for a high end stereo, get it!

great buy

the d6500 is a great buy, i run 4k rms in a 05 interceptor Crown Vic. 200amp alt, reg front battery, d6500 in the back, all 0 gauge wire, 2 300amp fuses at each battery, PAC 500 isolater and i have power... plan on one for the front as they are normal battery size and will fit with ease. threw up a nice 148 average and 151 peak in comp 2 months ago to win my class... i run 2 Orion hcca10.2's with a hifonics colossus pushing 1600rms at 1 ohm to each. and a Memphis 4 channel pushing 150rms @ 2ohms to each surround speaker, 5x7 in doors 6x9 in back deck. thanks again sonic.

XS D6500 review

Highly recommend! These batts are like an inch bigger than stock 6500 group batts but amazing! I had this load tested and it puts out just as much ca than my xs 3100s do!

This battery is a beast! I'm using it as a replacement for my stock battery up front. I was very pleased upon fitting it into place with not much room to spare at all. My voltage is definitely more stable and i look forward to running a more efficient system from now on!

Great battery

I replaced a factory battery with the d6500 in my Lincoln town car. We had to cut some of the plastic off of the stock battery holder to fit it in. However I have done the big 3 upgrade and I'm running a 2000 watt crescendo amp and no other batteries or capacitors also it's on a stock alternator and I have not had voltage drop below 13.4 and rests about 14.2-14.4. Amazing cranking power too. Starts my car easily every time. I did have to purchase top posts and modify some marine terminals to hook it up as they only give you to screws with a 300 dollar battery. Overall I'm happy with this battery so far and would recommend it.

I love this battery so far. Lately it's been really cold and this battery doesn't even break a sweat trying to start my car unlike my old battery.

so much power

This battery is huge. Fit under the hood of my ford ranger. I have it hooked up with a nvx big three kit and a mechman alternator. With my 3000 watt rms booming it stays above 14.5 volts. That's at idle too. "Real power, unreal performance" is no joke. Ps make sure u buy the right posts for the battery. It does not come with any.

Awesome Battery

I purchased this as a replacement for the same XS Power and found out the first battery was still good. Now I have two. These batteries are SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first one has been blasted for over 3 years and hanging in strong.

Great battery

Have it under the hood of my Grand Cherokee. Along with 4 xp3000 powering a Twisted Sounds 6.5k. Have yet to see below 13.8 volts. You can buy a monster amp but we'll never see the power unless you can supply it with the power it needs. Do not go cheap on electrical it is the foundation of your system.
