Good Product

The DBALL2 override works exactlly as mentioned.
The only thing this unit should have is some kind of wiring harness to account for the wires not being used for every installation. Removing the wires would be OK if you never want to take the unit out and use for your next car.

The Dball2 worked perfectly with my truck. The directions made installing a breeze. The price was very reasonable. The team at Sonic answered all my questions concerning the Dball2. Love buying from Sonic Electonix.

Great Product

Just like anything. Once installed correctly the product will work properly. Installed it on a 2014 Sonata using a Clifford remote start and a DBALL2 for convenience and works perfectly. Saved me some time by not having to hookup the tachometer signal wire, door locks, alarm or even trunk since it does it all through the data wires. Could it have been done without the bypass? Sure. But the convenience and the price simply make it worth it.

Need this unit for a quick and easy remote start install. Real easy to install and easy to get install info/tips on their site. Small and compact - easy to use. It's a huge time saver to do this D2D vs W2W install. Cheap unit price too.

Works good but compare features per the car you own

Countless installs done and I've used this many times mainly cause customer bought viper remote start / alarm. It's cheaper than other alternatives. But case in point 2013 Camry I have to wire door locks directly with idatalink or fortin I don't they do them via data. Also on same car you have to interrupt the auto light feature. Again idatalink does that automatically. Certain cars can't be beat for the price (about $15 cheaper) but anyway.

Awesome.

Everything worked as advertised. While the install in a whole was not what I would call easy, the DBALL2 did simplify quite a bit. Would recommend for sure.
