I purchased these bass blocker caps to use in my car's center speaker, which I also replaced because it developed a tear or rubbing. Since the side speakers have all the bass needed, the center speaker does not need bass and can have it blocked.
The delivery was on time, the installation was easy, and they work just fine!

Great alternative to replacing factory speakers
I have an 01 silverado with factory speakers. I couldn't turn up the stereo without getting distortion. I purchased a set of these for the door speakers, which reduce everything under 300hz by 6db approx and made all the difference. I've since upgraded the entire system, including the addition of a subwoofer and my head unit has a built in crossover so I no longer need them. I was happy with them I would definetly buy them again.
