POOR QUALITY, NON FUNCTIONAL !!!!!

I would not recommend this product, I bought 3 of them at the same time, 2 were faulty, looks good, functions are good but if they dont work then whats the point? 2 of them only had 2 digits of the display working and did not show zero amps with no load, 1.2-1.4A
How can 2 be faulty in exactly the same way, unless they are crap. That is what they are.

Great value

I love this product. I have use other cheap brands but I prefer to pay top quality one time. It's easy to install and is very durable and easy to ready display. It came with a little wire on it and I found out later that it is the grounding source for the meter. Would recommend this product to anybody.

I requested two of these for Christmas. I absolutely love them. I use them for all sorts of things. I'm a RC modeler, and i use it for amp/volt readout with my RC electronics. I also use them for my home built solar electric system. So many uses, and by far the lowest price on the web. AAAA++++

I use it to monitor the battery in my trunk for my sound system an it not only tell me the watts but the amps as well, an its a beautiful design.

This is one of the best amp/volt gauges that my company has purchased. It is very easy to install. I strongly recommend this product.

Good for what it was intended and easy to connect.

This product was made for a 12 to 18 volt system and I tried to use it on a 24v system as mentioned on another web site that said it would work. Used it on solar panels and worked up to 25 volts but when solar had it go to 29.2 volts it fried. Looks and acts well for what it was ment for but not my system.

evaluation

I think it would be a great tool to measure the output of solar or windmill operation. However, I think there are some production problems that need to be addressed. Namely the led readouts. The 3 of the ones I received had problems with reading correctly. The last one I received had one (1) leg of the led that don't light up. It's irritating to look at but I will live with it. Sonic has been very good about replacing the faulty ones.

This product I would consider Fair. I don't really see how it reads "amperage" because neither of the numbers seem relivent to that. However, the Voltage does work and it's very nice to be able to have that inline.

Awesome

This thing is great. Not only shows my voltage but amps used. My amps are switched besides turning on from the head unit so I can see what kink of amps they use. Because it is inline with my feed it was awkward to place it out in view. I couldn't have but opted to mount it next to my amps so I have to look at the amps to use it but it's a nice show when I show my system to people.

Same 1.2 to 2.5 A readings when not powered

I have the same problem.

Any user here can explain how to connect the attached black wire ?

Seen the utube of one female user complaining about lack of instruction which I certainly agree and muttering that black wire is to negative i.e. battery and not to ground e.g. chassis ground which while be a problem to run such long wire from my installation at the rear boot to the front battery.
