Great door speakers
My co worker bought a pair of these last year and he has been so happy with them I purchased for company truck. They sound so much better then the ragged out factory speakers. Had to buy adapter plate to install, but didn't fit the speakers. I screwed through old plate to make them work. Purchased wire harness adpaters so I wouldn't have to cut and solder existing wires.

doesn't work
Just got these today and the opening is way too small, none of the 6-1/2's i own will fit in it. It's cool tho it only cost 3 bucks, so its not like i lost a ton of money. If you have a 95 yukon, look at something else cause this won't work for you

Does not fit a 2002 Silverado
I tried to install some 6.5 speakers using these brackets with the hopes to clip them in to the existing factory location; however, they do not fit a 2002 Silverado. I just easily separated the factory bracket and shot some screws into it to hold the new speaker.

A Must
If you want to install 5 1/4 in after market speakers in a Gm truck, this adapter is a must too reduce the size of the hole. Easy installation, and HIGHLY recommended! Nice price too!

Don't work with 6.5" speakers
I don't recommend these for 6.5" speakers as they do not work. 2001 GMC Yukon. I was able to drill my own holes in the sheet metal of the door and mount the front speakers instead of using these worthless mounts.
