Looks better than it works

Used some of this tools, and already bent especially the sharp end blade look like pry tool on single application, i imagined to use this for more than just 1 car, but its better than using screw drivers and hurting hands dealing with modern cars nowadays using a lot of clips.

The material that they are made from isn't good, break easily, so be careful when trying to get those tough panels off.

Just what I needed

I was redoing a fuel injection wiring cable for a 1970 VW Fastback the old wiring cable was stiff and cracking with the new shrink tubing now soft and flex able. If you are go to do any kind of wiring work and you want to keep the wires in place this is the way to go.

they are ok, not the best u can get. they are not that strong and can break very easy on tips. I would only recommend getting these if you are going to do a job that can be done by hand. so what is the point of getting these you might ask.... Good question.. I would suggest getting other ones that are better and stronger than these.

quality of this tool kit is above average. be careful of their flexiblity and strength as they are sometimes too hard and sometimes not soft enough.

Great Solder!

This solder did exactly what i needed it to! Easy to use and makes a solid connection. The perfect thickness of solder! Makes soldering the wires fast and easy.

Broke a tool in half trying to pry the bezel on my dash. Ended up using a screwdriver anyway.

Good product

Used them to remove the dash and side pannels of my is300 and my brothers accord, they didn't leave scratches or marks on the car and was pretty easy to get the job done.

As well I used them to remove clips from the trunk to change couple thing and baaam, I am so happy I bought them.

Get this product if you're installing your car sound system yourself. This helps a lot in taking off panels and clips.

It does the job, but after a few uses the ends are falling off. I think they should be made with a better marital that holds up better.

Great solder wire

This solder was extremely easy to work with, melts easily and cools down quick, just wish I had better solder experience, I think I used too much but I got job done, no complaints.

A must have for speaker installs. Doesnt scratch trim like anything metal will. Way more tools in kit than I need to actually use. Its so cheap you should just buy it.

Probably not for the pros

I bought these tools to use to help me remove dash parts from my Saab. They worked well for one time uses but they were easily damaged and worn down to where you couldn't slip them into the cracks.

Nice set of DIY "pry" tools.

This is an ok set of plastic pry tools for removing panels when needed. They look like they wil hold up well for at least a few DYI jobs. Not for heavy duty daily use however.

Serves the purpose but not very strong.

I bought these for an install in my Acura TL. The amount of tools you get for the money is great but they are of poor quality. Example is one of the tools literally broke in half when I was prying up with it and all of the others ends quickly were deformed with just very light use. The bottom line is that for the money they are not bad for one or two uses but they are not made to last long. If the ends of each tool was reinforced to give the plastic more strength then they would be a much better buy.

Pry Tools

Recently bought this set to replace the snap-on set I lost, and I am a mobile electronics installer, the first time using the set on a vehicle the tip of the tool snaped off. Some of the other tools in the set are ok but the material that it is made out of is not flexible or strong enough to handle easy to moderate dash bezels and would not recomend these for professional use.

Great price and just a great overall value.

A must have for any installer, or anyone who has to work on interiors of cars.

These cutters are amazing. I didn't expect much when I saw them for the first time, they were smaller than I though they would be. They cut 0/1 gauge cable like butter.

Well when i saw these online they looked decent and had good reviews so i opted to get them seeing i was going to do my BIG 3 upgrade soon. When i received them, however, i wasn't sure they were right. These things are tiny!!! It doesn't even look like they can handle 1/0 gauge wire. So i reluctantly decided to test cut some wire and went in for what i thought would be "the big squeeze". Heres where my title chimes in. I do not think you could cut through butter with a hot knife as easily as these things sliced through my 1/0 gauge wire. I was shocked at how precise the cut was and that the wire did fit right into the end of the pliers perfectly. These things are what you need to cut anything up to 1/0 gauge with NO effort at all, highly recommended! The only drawback is, the little locking latch on them will unlock with the slightest touch of the pliers, so i recommend keeping these things somewhere where children or pets or anything can touch them, because i can literally sit them on a table locked and pound on the table and they will unlock, but functionality is awesome! :D

Cuts 1/0 awg clean & fast. Leaves a decently round cable to crimp/use. Sharp enough to strip large gauges.

Good for installing a stereo or skinny speaker wire gives a firm connection but won't fit 14 gauge or bigger wire but it did exactly what I wanted. Gave a firm connection when installing a new stereo.

These wire cutters worked better then I had imagined when buying them. No matter what the size of wire you need to cut these wire cutters cut with ease. I started by cutting 8 giraffe wire when working my subwoofers in the box and it cut like butter. I then wondered how easy a 0 gauge wire would cut so I grabbed a scrap cutoff I had of 0 gauge and these cutters cut through like slicing butter I was impressed. I have been wondering why I dident purchase these sooner it would have helped a lot with past builds I have done.

I happen to be an electrician so I can say with experience that this is a very decent cutter. Nice to keep in the garage for car audio stuff. Makes a very clean cut in 4 awg wire feels sturdy and decent padding on the handles. I can't verify longevity but for first appearance it looks well built and should hold an edge fine. I'm not a fan of the hook on the side and I might grind this off.

Real SHARP....

This wire cutters are a must have, I used it to cut 4 gauge wire from my NVX amp kit & it did it with such ease. Great for stripping insulation off too. Quality is great their very sturdy & sharp.

If you must have the "right" tools, you must buy this wire-cutter!

Slices through high-strand 0-gauge like it was celery. You can also use the sharp cutting edges to strip the wire jacket...very useful. I searched many places for an electrician-grade cutter like this, and only found very expensive tools (over $80). They probably would do the job, but not as well as the CC-06, since they're designed for low-strand wire.

Best Cutters I Have Used In My Life!!!!!!

All I can say is these cutters are great!! I use them strictly for my power wires and they cut WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better than the ones I got from Walmart years ago. Cuts 1/0 gauge with one snip and strips wires pretty good too. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to cut the bigger wires.

Great Cutters

I purchased these with my big 3 kit and since have upgraded my system quite a bit adding a lot of 1/0 gauge. it has given me no trouble with cutting or stripping it. only complain is the saftey does hold that well.

Be carefull!

For cutting zero gauge wiring these are a must have. Cuts monster 400 series and lesser wire like butter. Be carefull with these you could cut your finger off with very little effort no joke these are super sharp. For this price all i can say is buy them. Im going to buy a secound pair just incase i break these.

Great cutter for power cabling. I've used it so far to make cuts on AWG 4,2 and 1/0 gauge cable. These cutters go through even the 1/0 like a hot knife through butter leaving a smooth cut end. VERY impressed for the small.

Got the Job Done

I wouldn't exactly call this thick-walled heat shrink. However, it does a fine job on factory speaker wire connections. I still have some left after installing a couple sets of speakers. I would recommend.

I've been using my klein wire cutters for years to splice my wire and this tool makes it so much easier to work with larger gauge wire. It cuts through 1/0 with ease and seems durable.

Like a Lightsaber!

Yes:

A) I am that much of a nerd.
B) They do actually work that well.

I even tested these bad boys on some Memphis 0GA and it lopped through it like it was over-shielded 8GA.

These should be in everyone's toolbox, even if you don't deal with wire on a regular basis.

Aside from handily dispatching even the thickest wire, they are just as useful to snipping through the shielding to remove it. A very modest amount of pressure is necessary to get through the shielding. One light squeeze, rotate the wire, give a second and you have a very clean cut through the shielding only if you do it right; may take a couple tries since these are SHARP!

My only complaint is the lock for them is finicky and doesn't work that well.

That gripe aside you need a pair of these cutters!

Pretty good

These worked well. I did have one start to bend and crack but was my fault for forcing it. There is a cheaper set - but heard they bend too easy. This was worth a couple bucks more.

Easy to cut 0 Gage wire with this cuters... I totally recommend them....

They are useful, but ...

The quality is a bit suspect. One of them snapped in half on me. Some of the edges on a few of the tools were too thin to be useful, they would just bend. If it had a thicker end, it would be to large to jam into certain places. They did get the job done for the most part, and i was able to pop off those plastic panel clips if they got stuck. There might be better products out there than these, but I haven't had an opportunity to try those.

Great for DIY

I started working at a car audio shop at the beginning of last June. I didn't have very many tools and bought these after my second week of working. So after over a year of use in the shop, I have broken one and chipped another. These were my favorite ones, 45 degree wide fork & rounded point, so of course I used them the most and it was bound to happen eventually. This happened within the last 5 months, so I am pretty sure these are the best bang for your buck. They are not of the same durability or quality as professional brands such as Snap On but this is why I say the are great for all the DIY guys. If you guys want to work on your own car and couple of your friend's car, this is all you need. If you plan on doing installs for a majority of your life day in and day out, these will get the job done but not the best.
