4 Gauge Wire connector

Works good, much better to have a set screw than deal with crimping it onto 8,4,2,0 gauge wire. Wish the set screw was allen rather than the philips type head.

Decent

I bought 4 of them a while back for true 4 awg wire. To start, the fit wasnt amazing, but it worked. It seemed a little loose. If you pulled on it, it would slip some. It was equivalent of not crimping your wires down tight enough. After a month or so, the screw on one of them fell through the whole and wouldnt grip on at all. That was because i had to torque it so hard to get it safe enough for it not to slip. I tried putting my true 2 awg wire in and it actually fit perfectly in it. Didnt have to torque the screw really. Worked like a charm. I dont think I would recommend this product if you are using 4 gauge wire unless you feel comfortable with the wires possibly slipping out if anything were to tug on them. If you have your wires strapped in place and nothing would ever tug on it, more power to you. I was using these for a second battery in the trunk that something could bump into. If you are using 2 gauge wire though, i think this product would definitively do what you need it to do.

wow what a price

really great price. the only thing i can critique about this is the phillips head bolt instead of an Allen plug bolt. an Allen bolt tightens with ease and with this, i can see how it could get stripped easily. but over all for the price, it's a definite good buy.

Great Terminal

I would reccomend this terminal to anyone and everyone. I have audio technix 4 gauge wire and it fits absolutely perfect in this terminal. I really cannot say anything bad about it. Im going to order 3 more this weekend. The best thing about this terminal is that you do not need crimpers or a welder to use it. You are crazy if you buy from anywhere else than Sonic. Fast shipping and great service. Thanks SE!!!!
