Screen Size
This is the size of the monitor on the unit. It is measured diagonally and in inches. The bigger the number the larger the screen.
Aspect Ratio
The standard ratio of 4:3 (width:height) is one that most are familiar with; however, today we're seeing more models with widescreen 16:9 aspect ratios, which closely matches the most common movie theater screen ratio and HDTV broadcasts too.

Selectable aspect ratio means that the user has the option to choose which aspect ratio they would like. This feature is usually found on televisions.
Interface Type
This is the type of interface that the LCD display uses to receive the picture.

VGA: An analog interface that uses 15-pins to transfer the video signal.

DVI: A digital interface that can use up to 29 pins to transfer the video signal. Designed for carrying uncompressed digital video data.

S-Video: An analog interface that uses 4 or 7 pins to transfer the video signal.

Composite Video: An analog interface that uses 1 pin plus a screen to transfer a video signal.

Brightness
The level of brightness; measured in candela per square meter (cd/m2), a calculation that measures light intensity emitting from the screen. The higher the value, the brighter. Some manufacturers will measure brightness in NIT. These measurements are equal. 1 cd/m2 = 1 NIT.
Mount Compatible
Some monitors feature threaded holes on the back of the monitor that are used to mount the display to a wall mount, multi-monitor mount, or other type of mount.
