Total Peak Power Handling
This is the Total Peak Power handling of all the subwoofers included in the package or enclosure.

If the loaded enclosure or amplifier and subwoofer package includes more than a single subwoofer, then this is the total peak power handling for all of the subs combined.

Peak power handling refers to the amount of power a speaker can handle during a brief musical burst. The RMS power range figure is a much more reliable rating for determining the speaker's power requirements.
Audio Channels
This is the number of audio channels that the home theater system includes. And example of this would be "5.1". The "5" designates that there are 5 surround sound speakers. The "1" indicates that the systems includes a subwoofer.
Blu-ray
Blu-ray discs offer video in "Full HD" at a 1080p resolution for exceptionally vivid, lifelike images. They also allow for higher quality surround sound to be encoded on the discs, as well as much more information due to the data storage capacity on a Blu-ray disc being much larger than a standard DVD. A dual layer Blu-ray disc can fit 50GB of data compared to 4.7GB for a regular DVD!
HDMI Inputs
This is the number of HDMI inputs that the unit is capable of accepting.
HDMI Outputs
This is the number of HDMI outputs that the receiver is capable of.
iPod Dockable
This designates if an iPod can be docked the particular device. This feature applies it to home DVD/Blu-ay players, iPod accessories, alarm clocks, and more. When an iPod is docked, it will charge the iPod. Some devices will support the playback of video off of a docked compatible iPod. Some players include a dock or have one built-in, while others require you to purchase it separately.
OSD (On Screen Display)
Indicates that the unit has menus and features that display on the screen. Typically, on-screen menus allow users to adjust audio and video settings easier.
Designed for Karaoke
Karaoke is a form of entertainment where people sing along with a track of recorded music. The vocal tracks of the music are either removed or played at a low level to enhance the singers voice. Karaoke is great for parties and get-togethers with friends. It is fun for people of all ages.

If the unit is capable of karaoke, then it will offer playback of karaoke discs and often come with a microphone. Please read the description carefully to know exactly what karaoke features the unit has.
Instant Streaming Content
Some devices can connect to the internet for instant streaming content.
