Power Wattage

Spray Mist
The spray mist feature on some home steam irons allows the iron to release a fine mist of water in front of the iron. This allows the user to moisten the article of clothing while ironing for a faster ironing session.

This feature means that the iron has a cord that is retractable. It is typically stored in the base of the appliance. When the cord is retracted, it is hidden from view.
Cordless
Cordless means that there are no cords attached to the unit. Instead of cords, the base unit will transmit the signal to the receiver.
Water Filtration System

Curved Soleplate
The soleplate is the bottom metal plate on a iron or steam iron. A curved soleplate results in improved "wrinkle-free" ironing, as well as for a faster ironing session.
Vertical Steam
This is a feature on some irons that allow extra steam to be released from the iron while it is standing in the vertical position.
