High Definition Projection
This means that the projector is capable of projecting a high definition (HD) display. If so, the maximum HD resolution will be listed.
Projector Display System
This is the type of system that the projector uses to display the image.
Lumens Brightness
A Lumen is a measurement of the perceived power of light. Projectors use the measurement of lumens to determine the overall brightness of the projector. The lumen measurement in relation to projectors was standardized by ANSI (American National Standards Institute). The value listed here is the number of "ANSI Lumens" and will be a consistent measurement among all projectors.
Aspect Ratio
The standard ratio of 4:3 (width:height) is one that most are familiar with; however, today we're seeing more models with widescreen 16:9 aspect ratios, which closely matches the most common movie theater screen ratio and HDTV broadcasts too.

Selectable aspect ratio means that the user has the option to choose which aspect ratio they would like. This feature is usually found on televisions.
Ceiling Mountable
This means that the unit has the option to be mounted on the ceiling. Often times additional accessories might be required to make the mount safe and secure.
Maximum Projection Size
This is the maximum size that the projector is recommended to be displayed at. It is measured diagonally and in inches.
