Good Wire

This has a really good strand count but IT IS NOT TRUE 2AWG. I had a professional installer look at it and he told me. It's still thicker than 4 gauge, its just not as thick as it should be.

Awesome Package - Unbelievable Price

For all that I got with this package, the Price is just unbelievable,
it came with more than what I needed, the 2 gauge power cable was actually a bit bigger than what I was able to use for the amp - but still worked out perfectly, I use if for the MB Quart ONX1.1500D and it runs perfectly for this amp, as I mentioned, the actual 2 gauge was a bit bigger than what the amp could handle, but for 50.00 or less, it's an awesome value, and unbelievable price - THANK YOU SO MUCH DB LINK and more importantly, THANK YOU *** SONICELECTRONIX ***

Well, not sure how the other reviewer said these wires won't reach the back door of an '05 Towncar?? I own a 2006 Hummer H3 and this reaches all the way back to the cargo area and I have about 2ft to spare. Great quality; true 2 gauge. Powers a 1500W Mono block amp all day without a hickup. Highly recommended and price cannot be beat!

no good for long cars

I have an 05 town car and the wire didn't even reach the end of the back door so only thing I can use in this kit was the RCA and remote wire. I'm going 0 guage spool instead.

Not bad for the price

Looking for a cheap kit for my phantom 5000 amp and this was it! Kept my amp nice and cool which means if was getting all of its power through this wire. Like others have said, the wire is true 2 gauge, but only bad thing is its not copper wire. I think that is why the price is cheaper. Size is more important than the copper so i will be buying this kit again for my wife's car.

very good.

Not copper but still its very good. Metal can get messy if tears of some sort hard to get out of your interior. and wire connectors werent that great. but wires overall were very god. and also reliable.

Awesome kit!

I got this kit for free when I purchased a HiFonics amp from SonicElectronix.Com I assumed I would be getting a cheap kit that was just thrown together. This kit is awesome for the price! My installer didn't have anything bad to say about it. Usually the "free" kits are worth using, but this one is great!

pretty okay

Overall very happy with the kit. Comes with an odd amount of cable ends, luckily I had a few extras. I'd say that gauge wise it is not skimpy, as it was the right amount bigger than some Streetwires 4ga I replaced, and barely fit into the 2ga openings on the MB quart ONX 1.1500 I hooked up. Length wasn't an issue with the power cable but then again I'm in a truck not a boat car. The wire wasn't super flexible so it was a little difficult to work with.
I'd recommend this install kit for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but needs to get their amp/subs hooked up.
