idatalink URAM RAM Truck USB Retention Harness for Maestro RR (ACC-USB-RAM)
My 2015 Ram 1500 came equipped with the RA5 "mid tier" head unit and upon upgrading to a Pioneer 4200NEX I found that my usb data input and auxiliary input no longer worked. Since I was already using the idatalink Maestro rr for the head unit it was a given I would look to them for the solution, and the URAM worked exactly as advertised. The instructions were clear and easy to understand on how to disassemble the center console and install the new circuit board, in fact it turned out to he a 15 minute job (which was nice given Texas summer heat!) So far everything has worked flawlessly, and I would recommend purchasing this up front BEFORE the rest of the install.

Fits perfect and works as advertised but unfortunately if you want to use CarPlay you still have to just gut the console and mount a USB extension cable or jack... bummer.

Easy to install the usb works with CarPlay and keeps the aux port working. The usb doesn’t line up well when I 1st installed it I quickly fixed that after adding the plastic glow piece from the old board and poking the usb port with a small screwdriver until it clicked into place. Also CarPlay is prickly about cords so test it with one you know works on another car if possible. Some cheap cords are just for charging. I installed with the ch1 data chime retention day unit . For the aux to work you need to connect the red and white RCA cords from the data unit to the back of the radio. I’ve read in other reviews that the Maestro rr works the same way. If you don’t use one or the other you shouldn’t get the results you want.
