Easy install. Basically plug and play

Install went well. The instructions could be more clear as to what to do after the install. Every radio is different and the operation of the unit may vary. However I figured it out and have been a happy driver every since. I already have some new business for you guys.

Like the fact that i did not have to alter the look of my vehicle. The install literally took 20 minutes and i was up and running.

Exceeded my expectations - 2004 Avalanche

Plug and play with Factory Bose XM radio system. Does everything that I wanted and kept my original factory stereo with steering wheel and rear seat controls. Primarily wanted for Bluetooth with Android phone and playing Mp3s on a 32GB flash drive in my glove box. Very nice kit. A bit clunky to scroll through directories of MP3s (ease of use), but it does display short file names on radio screen. Durability is unknown so far, but the kit seems a quality product. I really like it when a product exceeds my expectations.

iSimple Connect ISGM655 (Hummer H2)

Overall, I am satisfied with this product; it does what it's suppose to, but that is with a caveat. I own a 2006 Hummer H2, which the box states it will work with, as does the website. That said, make sure that you mount the reset button in a spot that is easy to reach. (I put mine on the left of the center console, & below the ignition key.) I found that if you don't turn off the radio & hit the reset button after you turn off the truck, the truck's electronics will malfunction....truck will not start, or it rough starts & then all of the electronics light up on the dash with warning lights. I did find on another electronic dealer's website that there might be an update for the ISGM655 software, but they won't share it since I did not buy it from them. I have not been able to find a software update from iSimple as it doesn't appear that they sell/manufacture this model any longer. That said, as long as you hit the reset button each time you turn off your truck, it seems to work fine. Just a bit frustrating as I have to remind my wife & the mechanics of this when it's being serviced. If there were an update to fix this, the device would get a 5 star rating from me because it works great otherwise, allowing you to keep the factory radio.
