Does what it says.
This cable allows you to use older chargers with a new iPhone (yes, we're still mad at Apple for eliminating backwards compatibility). No problems with the cable. It is thicker and more solidly built than similar cables I've used. My only complaint is that does not "click" into place, like the Apple charging cable, and therefore can come out easily (ironically, this is more likely because the thicker cable is less flexible).
