Potentially Serious Issues
So, I was pretty excited to be able to use my iPod with our new Samsung Smart TV. Because samsung does not have an iTunes app that would allow playback trhough the USB port on the TV, it made perfect sense to getthe iSimple and attach my iPod through the RCA inputs. I could then use the included remote to listen to music or watch video.
Well, vidoe does work, BUT, if you want to just listen to music it does not work because when playing music there is no video signal at all. Samsung detects this and terminated the entire connection.
Solution - ideallly when playing music one would see the same thing as the i-Pod display shows and use of the remote would be far easier. Even if the only video output was a logo, it would be detected by samusung and the audio would work. Fo now: no solution and this device is useless fdor music plaback when hooked to a Samsung smart TV.
