Seems solid so far

The installation is a little hairier than other bluetooth kits, as you cannot use a harness but must do some work with electrical wiring. I used an Add-a-Circuit to tap into the factory stereo circuit in the under-dash fuse box. I would highly recommend a professional install if you aren't comfortable with electrical work.

The bluetooth kit works just as described. The sound quality is on par with the Bluetooth sound for the Motorola TK30 I used to have (that crapped out on me by continually cycling power on and off). The iSimple is very unobtrusive and not an obvious target for thieves, which makes this a great option if you live in an area where auto theft is a problem.

I am the only person who uses my phone in this vehicle, so I haven't tried pairing more than one device. Because of my bad experience with the Motorola product, I am wary about the longevity of these kits, but so far there have been no problems with the iSimple. And the price point is excellent.

Great Product

I installed this in a Pontiac G8 gt. Along with a sub and replaced all factory speakers. This works over FM so you will loose FM and must understand that but all the other Bluetooth systems that do not us FM have many issues (read the reviews) most will not utilize all speakers and I have 13 of them in this car. It works great as promised and has no problems. Bluetooth streaming makes mp3s sound better than I imagined and FM is no loss thanks to Iheart and Pandora. I highly recommend this and will install another in my330i.

Awsome Sound - Less than friendly Bluetooth Set Up

This unit sounds great, even through the FM modulator. Its great that you can pick any station for the input. I hear no static or interference. The major issue is that the manual that comes with the unit does not contain enough information to successfully pair with your iPhone. There is a more detailed instruction sheet if you search for it online. I called the support number and they really did not want to talk to me unless I was a professional installer. The pairing only appears to remember a single iPhone and in order to pair to a different device you must use the Tranzit Blu app to "clear all devices". I guess one device is "all". Now, once you have sucsessfully paired a device, the connection is rock solid and works great. I can only give it four stars because of the inability to pair to multiple devices. The ease of use is rated low because of the issue with the pairing. If not for that this would have a solid 5 star. I am considering another one for my second vehicle.

Great Product

My daughter has a 2001 Integra and has started College. She loves to run music off of her phone. We installed the iSimple Tranzit BLU HF. I worked and sounded great. I would recommend this product.

Not as good as hoped

Installs easily, works as advertised. Voice modulation over radio not as strong as regular FM stations. When a call comes in, you have to turn up the radio to hear the caller and after the call, you have to turn it down before switching back to an FM station.
Contracted support and they offered no help, no solutions.

WORKS AMAZING WITH MY LX 2003 IS300 w NAVY

More than what i was expected, it sounds better than the regular radio, even better than a regular CD.
Microphone 8 out of 10 but the sound of the call is amazing.
The streaming of the music and videos is A+ I use it with my Galaxy note4 ( Spotify, iheart and milk) and with my Iphone 4s ( with i heart and spotify ) I am just in love with this product and will recommended to anyone.

Pretty easy to set up btw and SE price BUUUAAA super low.

Great Value Item

I installed this in a 2000 Jaguar S-Type, and use an iPhone 6 with it. The installation takes patience and time, but once installed the gadget works flawlessly. I set the default RF station to one I listen to so it all appears seamless. Answering calls, using Siri to make calls and listening to iPhone music works like a charm.
I prefer it to using the built in Bluetooth cell link on my Acura MDX because I don't have to pre-program phone numbers - it just uses the iPhone contacts.

I'd buy again

I'm using it on a Droid2. I just got it about 2 hours ago. I had some trouble pairing it. I wasn't sure if it was charged or not, due to the lack of a "charging" light. I tried with my phone (droid2) and the gf's phone (S5 I think), couldn't get it to pair. I flipped the switch on the back to off and back to "A" (Android), immediately searched for Bluetooth devices and I was able to pair it.
The buttons could be bigger or bubble-like for my caveman fingers to feel what I'm pushing in the dark while driving.
This will make my less distracting while swerving around the cars with the yellow license plates in the left lane with the high beams on while my phone is doing that awesome droid-blinking thing when you look at the audio cable wrong.
Waterproof would be a nice addition to this product, so I can control my phone from the shower/pool, or while getting all sweaty doing yard-work

Impressed!

I like it! Does exactly what I was looking for. iPod/iPhone control for music. Press the center mic button for Siri commands. Nice unit. Would've given it 5 stars but there's no charge/power on light indicator and the switch on the back is a minor flaw as well.

Real useful

I bought it to fit in a car to operate my iPhone//Pioneer 5700BT combination. Worked great, but when I realized I could also remotely operate the iPhone's camera with it, I took it off the steering wheel and now take it everywhere. Now I can get in the photo too!. Awesome.

Works Well. Recommended for Safety.

I installed this device on the BACK of the steering wheel where my right index or middle finger can reach it comfortably while driving.

The device is paired with an iPhone 5s, which in turn is paired with a Sony XNV-770BT head unit in the dash.

When I press the device, the iPhone recognizes it and the Sony unit automatically mutes the A/V sound as if I was making a voice call. Then, Siri's voice is heard from the front speakers, just like the navigation voice from TomTom. My command to Siri is picked up by a Sony microphone then to the Sony unit then to the iPhone.

When the iPhone is in sleep mode and iSimple wakes it up, be sure to press onto iSimple a bit longer. This ensures that your "press" is interpreted as a summon for Siri.

Two weeks ago, I drove a total of about 1,000 miles with the newly installed iSimple. I thoroughly appreciated the sense of safety that iSimple brought to my driving. No more need to locate and push the iPhone's home button while the car is in motion.

Used for Snowmobile

I bought this to link to my iPhone6s. It worked really well. The purpose was for use on my snowmobile to listen to music (so I wouldn't have to unzip my coat all the time). I was a little concerns about moisture and cold temps affecting the use. However, this device worked the whole time. I took it off my handlebars every night, but daytime temps were 5-25 degrees F. It was never completely covered in snow, so never really had much moisture to deal with.
I also was a little concerned about the magnet being strong enough to keep the device in the holder, given the impact of riding on a snowmobile, so I wrapped a rubber band around it to be sure and never had any problems.

I would definitely buy this again. Probably would work good for ATV's too.

Some simple upgrades I would like to see are 1) stronger connection to the holder (rather than just a magnet) 2) Weather proof/ resistant (although I didn't have problems this trip) 3) Indicator when fully charged, and rubber cover over charge port to keep outdoor elements clear.

Ideal for cars without BT controls

I bought this for use with iPhone 6 & a 2013 Mini Cooper. The mount is basic, even a little flimsy & has two color options. Looks good on the mini dash. Works great for music functions. Has a big (under iOS 9.x anyway) where any time a button is pressed, it prompts to unlock the iPhone.

The steering wheel strap us a good idea, but poor implementation. It catches on your hand when turning. Mounting to a flat surface on the dash works much better. Battery life is very good, going over 1 month on a single charge & still working strong!
