Not Recommended for Dodge 2500 or 3500 Diesel

I bought this along with the T-harness to make for a super clean and easy install. Truck never starts on the first attempt. Always starts on the second attempt. Worked with ADS and they are unable to resolve the issue because they can't figure out how to wake up my truck's canbus to allow for the glowplug status to complete so the truck can start.

Excellent Product

This is the second iDatalink bypass module that I've installed and used in conjunction with a remote start system (Crimestopper RS7-G4). The unit was easily programmed and installed. Vehicle/remote start system integration was seamless. It is reliable and requires no maintenance.

Idatalink ADS-AL CA bypass kit

All in one bypass kit programs to any vehicle. Easy to install with less wires to hook up compared to other bypass kits. Instructions on how to program to vehicle are very easy to understand. Plus can be re programmed to another vehicle. In thirteen years I have had to problems with this product.

Not recommend for Toyota Camry Europa. It not works.

Bought this through sonic electronics because of great reviews and heard it worked the best with Acura TSX not to mention it was better priced than best buy or other sellers on Amazon, fast shipping, great product does the job well.

Great, small and compact

I had a shop install this in a 2003 Acura MDX with a viper remote start system, No alarm. I opened the box and the item was small and compact.

Didnt need to flash/program. Would definitely recommend and buy again if I need one

A must use

I've been professionally installing alarms for over a decade now, and have come to depend on idatalink modules. This little guy works wonders. It is great when it is w2w (wire to wire) but this thing is phenomenal when it is d2d (data2data) Not only does it reduce the installation time and effort, it keeps the vehicle 100% OEM. I have personally used this in my 2012 toyota 4runner, and it kept my OEM alarm fully intact and it does every funtion through the datalink. I Love this thing.

BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK ADAPTER ON THE PLANET!

I have installed car stereo and etc for about 14 years professionally. Heck with stocking 100's of adapters, this one will do about 99% of the vehicles on the planet. Easy to follow guide instructions on the companies website. This adapter will save you about 20 wire connections on a vehicle such as a 2007 caravan! BE SURE to get the weblink adapter tho, this unit does not come pre flashed with firmware.

idatalink all the way

idatalink modules are the best out there. i will take them any day over DEI. plus D2D mode with Autopage remote starters, it is a no brainer.

not bad. service

The shipping, transaction and care was great. However, the module was either not programmed at all, or was programmed for the wrong vehicle. Lucky a stereo store near home was kind enough to re-flash for the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it all worked out.

Good item once I got it programmed correctly

Item works great now that I got it programmed the right way! I called sonic a few times to make sure they would program it to the right year Chevy but it wasn't so I had to take it to a local dealer and have them reprogram it for 50$ wish it would have just come programmed like they promised

Beat bypass available

Good product for all vehicles. Make sure you have programming capabilities with idatalink or most shops will do it for a small fee.

Not to bad

this was a little difficult to program correctly. still not 100% sure its installed correctly.
