DIY dash kit

I recommend this product because it is an exact replacement fit in the suburban. Great kit for installing an aftermarket stereo.

this came free with my deck purchase from Sonic. Never expected it but was a nice touch - thanks Sonic! I actually did not need it as I already had an aftermarket deck in, however for someone with little experience with aftermarket decks they might not even think of the dash adapter. And too many companies out there are happy enough making the sale on a deck and not taking the extra step to make sure you have everything you need - Sonic did! One note, I do not remember having to request an adapter color, they sent a black one and I would have required Grey (could paint but they do come in different colors) If you need an adapter for your dash see if you can request the correct color.

Easy to Install

After removing your stock dash kit. You will have to pop the vents out from it and into the new Scosche dash kit. but other then that its really straight forward and everything fits nice in the dash

Something Extra at No Extra Charge

I had a friend ask me to do an upgrade to his 20 year old Chevy Silverado. While the job was pretty straight-forward, the crank with this sort of purchase was making sure that I was ordering exactly the right item; dash integration components can be very hit-or-miss depending on the manufacturer. Sonic cleared that snag up with the vehicle specific menu, and I got exactly what I needed, right down to the color match.

As an added (and TOTALLY unexpected) bonus, Sonic was nice enough to send me this standard, black replacement panel at no charge. This product Works as intended. however there are a few things to note. if the head unit you pick is excessively deep you will have to modify the factory bracket down inside the dash or remove it completely otherwise the radio will not sit flush against the face of the adapter.

They fit and blend in so well and hold the air guides for the vents too.
