Very good speakers for the price. Definitely get good value with these speakers. Decent bass, good mids, and tweeter works well. The clarity is what I like most about them. Not a knock your socks off bass rattling type of speakers. However, like I said the bass is adequate. I wanted it more for the clarity, the nice mids and vocal range that these speakers offer. The material is also good so you can count on them lasting.

They are overall great speakers
easy installation i have them in my mazda protege
and can easily handle the power and bass
sounds great with my 2 kickers

good for the price....

i was in the market for a pair of 6x9 speakers awhile ago and i was originally going to purchase some rockford fosgate as i have good experience with them in the past but i settled for these jvc speakers they are nice speakers with good materials and nice features for the money i'm honestly happy with them but not impressed. my one let down about the speakers is that at high volumes you begin to loose the quality and warmth of the high frequencies that i haven't had with my fosgate 6.5 but as i said for the money they are a good buy and i have no regrets but if you want something to crank and still sound great you might want to fork out the extra cash and go with a brand like alpine infinity or fosgate
