I have a sony xplode 12" sub and due to the fact that they don't make a sub specific grille cover for this sub I had to go with a universal. It was a very tight fit but I was able to install the grill without having to make any modifications. Overall I am happy with the build quality of the grille and my purchasing experience through Sonic Electronix.
