Smart Surge Control
When the draw on the inverter is above the continuous rated power, the inverter will attempt to power the device for up to 10 seconds before shutting off.
Voltage Protection
Whenever the input is greater than 15V DC or less than 10V DC, the inverter will automatically and safely shut down.
Short Circuit Protection
When a short circuit is detected, the inverter automatically shuts off until the short circuit is removed.
The PRO-3000W has 3 cooling fans to make sure your power doesn't cut out from the inverter overheating.
Thermal Cutoff
The PRO-3000W will automatically shut down if the internal temperature exceeds safe design parameters.
Overload Protection
When the inverter receives a load above it's rating, it will automatically shut down. No more worrying if you're pushing your inverter too hard.

I was scared but it is awesome
I own a campsite that has no electricity so I was using a generator to run my camping trailer. I bought this, plus a couple of 100 amp batteries from menards, a 100 amp battery charger and 100 watt solar panel. Granted my startup costs were a liitle more than I intended but instead of spending $30 a day on gas for the generator I'm down to maybe $5. The best part is all the things this unit runs it doesn't make the noise a generator makes. Love it. Just sorry I didn't buy it sooner.

Top Notch QualityI
I have a 1600w whistler,and it's been working perfect from the day I took it out of the box.I wanted more power so I bought this 3000w whistler.It's been just as good.I like the brand and haven't had any trouble out of any of the whistler products I've bought.I think it's a good solid product,and would recommend it to anyone looking for an invertor.These are hooked up to my solar syatem,so they get alot of use,and have held up well.
