Omega ECHO-COLOR

The Omega ECHO-TOUCH upgrade kit is a modular 2-way touchscreen remote controller and receiver/transmitter kit that simply plugs into any compatible Omega vehicle security system (including the 514CG750I6, sold separately) to put the status of your vehicle at your finger tips. The powerful transceiver extends operating range to as much as 1,500 feet so every command can be confirmed even when your vehicle is out of sight.

The 2-way touchscreen remote controller features an integrated antenna which sends and receives confirmations from the kit's included receiver/transmitter unit for 2-way functionality. The 2-way remote controller features a touchscreen LCD which displays and operates all of the controller's functions, as well as indicates the status of your system. The LCD screen of the remote controller has two adjustable parameters, Screen on Time (5, 10, or 15 secs.) and Screen Brightness (1-5). Both settings have an effect on battery life, so it is recommended to use the lowest setting you are comfortable with.

The ECHO-TOUCH remote controller communicates with the window-mounted receiver/transmitter base unit, which is plugged directly in the compatible Omega vehicle security system. The window-mount receiver/transmitter should be mounted directly to the interior glass by utilizing the attached adhesive pad (clean the glass before adhering) for the best performance. The receiver/transmitter unit also contains alternative status lights and a valet switch (these maybe used, or the ones on your compatible Omega vehicle security module may be retained).

The 2-way touchscreen remote controller will lock (arm) and unlock (disarm) your vehicle and the installed Omega security system. The touchscreen remote controller also provides trunk release and remote start commands. In addition, the remote controller features auxiliary commands which can be programmed for automatic window-rollup and other features of your compatible Omega alarm. Aslo included is a Panic function.

The 2-way touchscreen remote controller has three different types of alert modes. Button Beep configures the controller to beep as a confirmation when you press any icon on the screen. The Melody and Vibrate settings configure how you are alerted any time the controller receives a confirmation or alert from the vehicle's system. Melody turns on/off all audible alerts including voice alerts (English or Spanish). Vibrate mode turns on/off vibration alert.

The 2-way touchscreen remote controller will store recent alarm trigger events in a log that displays the date and time of the trigger as well as which zone was triggered. The history is cleared when you turn on the vehicle's ignition.

The touchscreen remote controller can operate up to two different Omega vehicle security systems. When controlling two systems, the controller will receive all status updates on the currently selected vehicle profile and will receive only trigger alerts for the 2nd vehicle. You can switch from one care to the other at anytime, as well as choose a unique image and name for each vehicle.

The remote controller's clock has three programmable options. You can set the time and date, select 12 or 24 hour format, and program the built-in alarm clock.

The controller has two convenient timer functions. The Parking Timer tells you how long you have been parked in case you are at a parking meter or other parking areas with time restrictions. The Remote Start Timer tells you how long your engine has been running in remote start mode. This is a good indicator to judge how long you have left in the remote start run cycle.

Demo mode will show you a demonstration movie of all the controller's available functions along with confirmation animations and voice alerts.

The touchscreen remote controller can be turned off completely to save battery life while traveling or out of range of the vehicle.

The 2-way touchscreen remote controller is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery level indicator shows a low battery, plug the supplied USB cable into the remote controller, then connect the other end to your computer's USB port, the supplied AC charging adapter, or the included DC charging adapter to recharge the battery.
