Sensor Type
Currently, cameras will typically use a CMOS, CCD or CMD sensor type. A CMOS camera is your most common type due to its low cost and quality performance. CMOS cameras also use much less power than a CCD but are more susceptible to noise interference. A CCD camera is much more sensitive than a CMOS camera so the pictures are cleaner and less grainy and perform much better in low light situations. A CMD camera is right in between the two as it has a better image quality over CMOS cameras and a comparable picture quality to the CCD cameras without being quite as expensive.

MobileVision C125 (blk)

October 10, 2012

I was in a delimma, the rear camera went dead on my 2009 Fleetwood Southwind. After having a technician check the system it was determined I needed a rear camera. Searching the internet I located the camera on Sonic Electronix. In speaking to the representative (Brian) he said not only do we have it, I can get it to you in three days. To make a short story shorter, three day later the C125 was delivered, and was installed within minutes. I will go no further than Sonic for my next repair order. Thanks for the excellent service.

Why did you choose this?
Sonic Electronix Store
Because is the right camera for our RV. There was a really good list of specs and photos to help me determine if I was purchasing the right camera. It was a reasonable price and I did not want to spend the money....let alone the time it would take to take our RV to have it installed. Now lets hope I am right! Thank you.

Will this work on an rv that does not have a camera now?
Lee B on Aug 28, 2014
Best Answer: Yes it will. Im addition to this I suggest the 70 foot extension cable that is specific to this along with the HAR-RCA-C adapter. You will need all three items to complete the camera end of your install.
