Sony XBA-4 (XBA4) Quad Balanced Armature In-Ear Headphones

The Sony XBA-4 is the most complete of the balanced armature series. The distinguishing feature of these in-ear monitors is the combination of 4 separate and balanced armature driver units. Each driver is assigned a dedicated frequency range and include a full-range driver, a tweeter for high frequencies, a woofer for low frequencies, and super-woofer for the very lowest bass frequencies. Each balanced armature unit is specially designed, tuned, and engineered by the Sony team to deliver precise sound and work in a complementary fashion to create a full-bodied and rich reproduction.

Further refining the quality of the sound reproduction, the XBA-4 feature double layered chamber construction with a high-rigidity magnesium inter chamber that keeps the drivers securely in place and minimizes vibrations. The outer chamber is constructed of ABS plastic that further inhibits unwanted vibration and maintains a neutral tonality.

Rounding out the experience, these in-ear headphones feature comfortable silicone ear tips that create a secure fit within the ear while effectively isolating noise for a focused and untainted reproduction.
