The Sennheiser HDR 120 RF wireless headphones are an inexpensive supplementary or expansion set, operating in the 863MHz or 926MHz variant frequency range, and designed for use with Sennheiser's RS 120 Hi-Fi or television wireless headphone monitoring system. These headphones feature extended low frequency reproduction, a supra-aural, open-back design, and NiMH rechargeable battery operation with a 20 - 25 hr. battery life. The HDR 120 are a replacement or additional headphone for wireless headphone systems RS 115, RS 117, RS 119, RS 119-II, RS 120, RS 120-II.
Sennheiser is a name that is synonymous with audiophile products. They have been viewed as a premium, top-tier (dare we say "The" top-tier?) brand since the beginning of time. Laboratorium Wennebostel's time that is. In 1945, Prof. Dr. Fritz Sennheiser founded Laboratorium Wennebostel's, or "Lab W" in a pleasant half-timbered house. Fritz Sennheiser was born with a gift. When he was 11 years old, he saw an early radio that inspired him to build a crystal radio. Again, he was 11 years old. There was no turning back from that day. Wonderful to hear and understand
I was not able to hear or understand all the words, especially in a movie. Using the headset I can hear and understand all of the movie or program. You can set your own volum and not bother others.

Great headphones
I purchased these headphones for watching television without disturbing the whole house. They have excellent sound quality (what else would you expect from Sennheiser?) You can't beat the price on any other quality headphone.

i love the headphones. i use them every day and they never fail me. i like the rechargeable ones. so comfortable and clarity is awesome. i have a hearing problem and they keep my tv at a comfy volume for others. i have three pairs and would buy another when needed. thank you for the great deal.

Excellent product
We already had one pair of these headphones that worked well but when the battery died, it took awhile for them to recharge. Now my husband has a spare. As with the original, the headpiece seems a little large but it's great having a second set without having to wait or buy another charging unit.

Great product at a reasonable price
Last year, 2012 I wanted a good set of headphones to enjoy my movies late night while everyone's sleeping. They took 2 mins to setup. When I turned them on, after a full charge, I was impressed with the clarity of the highs. The bass is deep and smooth. Even at lower volume levels. I thought I was in a movie theater. The surround sound is incredible. I have a two story home about 1700 sq ft and I could not find any place in the house, or garage, where I experienced signal loss or a degrade in performance. They also hold a charge all day. Watched 3-2hr +movies and still had enough for several hrs of TV. They are pretty light and very comfortable too. This year I am buying another set for our TV upstairs so my (hard of hearing) wife can watch her shows, as loud as she wants, without interrupting my daughter's or my tv viewing in other parts of the house.

no sound in headphones without some sound coming from the tv
headphones worked in the store without tv sound, but at home with my 9 year old Sony TV, could not get sound through headphones without some sound coming from the TV. abyone know what gives?
