JL Audio MBT-CRXV2

Great for SxS

I got this as a package with teh JL waterproof speakers, SSV kick pods and JL 280 marine amp (discontinued). The MBT-CRX mounts just to the right of the steering wheel on my Rzr 1000. It has RCA stereo cable that I hooked up to the JL 280 amp which fits perfectly in the glove box. Both of the MBT and amp I received were faulty, however. The new stuff works fine. Pretty disappointed with JL Audio to be honest but I'll just hope that was an extremely rare exception and enjoy the gear.

Anyway it works great and has excellent sound. It has AptX which has the best sound quality at the moment. I put the bluetooth volume on my phone all the way up and store it in the phone holder in the console. I control the music volume, pause, skip track etc from the MBT-CRX at the touch of a button. Works great while driving. Tip: press the volume button multiple times to change it quickly, don't "hold" it for faster response. It lights up a nice blue at night to easily discern the different buttons.

The reception is quite surprising.. I went to water the bushes in the woods with the phone in my pocket and got about 40 feet before it started cutting out!

Overall I'm please with the setup. It goes plenty loud and has good sound and range. Get it!

MBT CRX on a RZR 900

The unit seems to work good all the buttons are tight and have a slight click to them as you select. The wiring was quite large compared to other products and easy to work with. I'm not crazy about needing to drill a 1" hole in my machine to mount the device with but it looks good and the blue backlighting matches my 2015 Polaris RZR factory blue. The BT connect in about 2 seconds automatically after powering up every time. I have experienced some choppy connections a few times but I can't tell if that was from other local interference or not. Over all I like the product but wish they had a flush mount kit. The unit is about about a half inch Thick and about 2' round

Perfect For a Classic Car or Hot Rod

I haven't gotten to the install yet but from the looks of the product and reputation of the Manufacture I expect it will fit the Bill. I'm using it in my German Look Beetle which has an array of gauges that take up a lot of space. And I don't normally listen to the radio other point was that all my Music is on my phone or iPad these days so this was a perfect fit for may needs and application.

Perfect for UTV

Installed in my Kawasaki Teryx 800 le side x side.
Works great and the water and mud do not affect it.
It is simple and does exactly what it's intended for.
Installation was a breeze !!!
I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic Bluetooth Receiver

Install was a snap. Wired up and works well. Was able to integrate it into my AquaticAV head uniot.
