The daily use of LCD headphones over the years lends itself to the occasional need for headband replacement. As such, Audeze offers hand-crafted leather and non-leather headband replacements for our LCD line of planar magnetic headphones.
Audeze spent time carefully designing and selecting materials for the assembly of their headband. At its core the headband is constructed with heat-treated spring steel that is powder coated to prevent corrosion. This base is then padded with foam and (as outlined in our earpad replacement) wrapped in your choice of either lambskin leather or leather-free microsuede to create the perfect, comfortable fit.
A number of you have told Audeze you’d like an alternative to their leather products and They’ve responded by offering a leather-free microsuede (faux suede) option. The same care and diligence was applied to finding the perfect non-leather material fit for their headphones.
