Why can't I use this with the VCW v3 subwoofers such as the VCW102v3 and VCW104v3?

Simply because the grilles are to handle the dimensions and excursion of the VCW Version 1 and Version 2 subwoofers.

Can I use this with other NVX subwoofers or those from other brands?

Absolutely not. Like we said, these grilles are made for the dimensions and performance of VCW Version 1 and Version 2 subwoofers. It may not even fit in other subwoofers.

Do I need to drill new holes into my box to mount this?

No. These utilize the existing mounting holes on your VCW v1 and v2 sub. You just place the grille over the sub and use the same screws to lock both the sub and the grille down to the enclosure simultaneously.

I have a custom box with a very tight opening. How wide is the VCW10GR?

It’s designed to match the outer diameter of the VCW10v1 and VCW10v2 sub perfectly. If your sub fits in the cutout, the grille will fit flush against the mounting surface, keeping your install looking integrated and professional.

I’m worried about my sub hitting the grille when it's at full volume. Is there enough room?

These grilles are arched enough to provide plenty of clearance for the cone to move forward without slapping the mesh, ensuring your bass stays clean even when pushed to the limit.

Speaker grills

These grills are just what the doctor ordered for my NVX 102 v2 VS series subs now i can put the groceries in the back of my van , and not in the slider doors. Was always afraid of something sliding out of the plastic grocery bags now no more worries . The grills are made very well and sturdy .
