Peter Jensen became an audiophile and innovator back in 1915 when he co-invented the loudspeaker. That single invention became known as the Magnavox loudspeaker. The creation produced modest success until 1919 when they provided the Magnavox loudspeaker for a speech by then President Woodrow Wilson. That eventually propelled the speakers into the mainstream and made Peter Jensen get nationally recognized as an innovator. In 1925 Peter Jensen started his own company called Jensen Radio Manufacturing and the rest is history. Jensen has been a well known name in the audio business since then and there are no signs of them going away anytime soon. Jensen is also known for creating the world’s first car audio speaker which led to them becoming Jensen Mobile Audio. Today, Jensen holds the top brand position when it comes to mobile multimedia and is a household name in both car and home audio.
