Precision Power PPI PH2.65S tweeters incorporate an inverted dimpled Aluminum dome diaphragm with phase plug, to provide crisp, smooth highs . They are driven by a high strength neodymium magnet. These components come together perfectly to deliver a proper full-range sound that will compliment the staging of other drivers within an audio system. As as a stand-alone system, they have a frequency response of 15 kHz - 20 kHz, a 93 dB efficiency and 80w Peak Power Handling.
Even with only 1" mounting depth, the 6.5" woofer is capable of reproducing the lowest of lows and snappiest kick bass with very little effort! An inverted neodymium motor structure allows a shallow and compact profile frame. The cone and dust cap is 1-piece IMPP, its molding recesses into the back side to receive the voice coil structure. This direct connection of cone to voice coil yields the snappy reaction of a flat piston driver, virtually eliminating cone-radiated distortion.

Not bad. Perfect if you need very thin speakers
I purchased these for the rear speakers in my 2013 Toyota Sienna because everything I had researched said nothing will fit back there due to the shallow mounting depth. These speakers fit with room to spare. They sound good but not great in my opinion. However, if you need an extremely shallow depth then these are the way to go. I ended up purchasing a par of kicker CS 6.5 coaxials and like the sound better though. They aren't as thin but they still worked for my application.

Great shallow mount speaker
I ordered these since the mounting depth was so small and they can fit just about anywhere. I was a little concerned they wouldn't have good sound with the small 1" mounting depth but am very happy with the sound quality. They are surface mounted to a door with a small pod I built out of mdf. Powered by a ppi black ice 5 channel amp running off the front channels, PPI 6x9's on rear channels and one 10" clarion sub on the sub channel. Great combo.
The only complaint would be PPI needs better install instructions.

Awesome Precision Power Speakers
I purchased a set of these speakers to replace a set of Focal 6-1/2" Slim Separates that I had on my Mercedes Sports Coupe and I couldn't be happier. The sound quality is amazing, the fit perfectly and were a breeze to install. I definetely recommend them.
