Excellent Headphones
Planar sounds different than dynamic, in a good way. The headphones give very clear and detailed sound. Love to listen to classic music with them. They are great with other genres as well. The only downside is that the highs are a bit bright in some songs.
I have replaced the pads with HPAEC1540 to increase comfort, and now I can wear them for hours. They need amplifier for reasonably loud levels. Currently, I am using an amp based on the chip TPA6120A2 and it is loud enough.
