Only thing better is the IDMax
I went with this brand based on research. Image Dynamics is supposed to be a great sound quality brand. I have two of them infinite baffle (free air) mounted on my rear deck in 2.5" of HDF that I replaced the sheet metal rear deck with. They sound finominal powered by my my Zapco ST1500-XM wired at 4 ohm. Don't let their cheesy, Atari-looking logo deter you. They are very heavy with a large cooling vent hole in the magnet. The thick rubber magnet protector is a nice feature. The spider and surround are very sturdy and stiff which is good for infinite baffle installs. I wouldn't hesitate to mount in a box at recommended volume. I have no reason to think that they will not last many years

It's Awesome
This sub is great.
Everyone knows that ID is one of the best for sound quality. I didn't want booming bass - this 10" sounds really good. Not too loud, not booming, just good bass.

Great sub
Have two in a trunk baffle in a large sedan and I love the sound of them. Clean, deep bass of 200 watts total. Only regret is not getting the 12's as I didn't think they would fit.
