Works great but has iOS clunky usability
I have installed several former Carlink modules and now the new Linkr-M1. The Carlink used to required service thru 3rd party Audiovox and worked flawlessly. The new LinkR-M1 now receives text messages directly from your phone app sent directly to the Linkr-M1 so there is no middle service. It works great but on the iOS platform (iphones) when you tap the start button from the Linkr-M1 app, it then opens a text message on your iphone and then you have to then click send on on the tex message to actually start your car. They say the requirement to hit send on the text message is an iOS limitation as on Andriod tapping the start button from the app sends the command immediately which is what you'd expect. So again on iPhone its a 2 step process and kinda annoying you have to tap start from the Linkr-M1 app and then in Messages app click send on the text message to actually start the car.
