Great small cabin bass that takes up very little real estate
I installed 2 of these subs in a 2002 BMW 3-series coupe. I didn't want a box in the trunk, so I removed the side interior panels for the rear seat. I found a small cavity about 4-1/2" deep about 1 cubic foot in space, so I sealed it up and cut out a steel panel for the subs to mount too. I cut a section of the panels out in front of the subs and mounted them back up.
Powering them in parallel with the 300 watts RMS from the fifth channel off of a Alpine PDX-5, I get a nice amount of personal bass that hits hard and fills the cabin.
