Install a new Single-DIN car stereo in select 2007-2010 Elantra
• Single-DIN Dash Kit
• High-Grade ABS plastic construction
• Original factory-like fit and finish
• Includes installation instructions
This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install a 2” tall (Single-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a built-in pocket that is located below the 2” radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The dash kit is contoured to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn’t offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

PERFECT FIT (2008 Elantra SE, USA)
Just make sure you order the right one. It's pretty obvious by the pictures. If your vehicle has the "radio delete" option (I think that one..., cause this item here is NOT for that nor do I own the vehicle with it), you shouldn't have the split towards the bottom center where the additional controls are. OBVIOUSLY this one won't fit that one. The whole fascia is a slightly different shape (look at the rounded edges on the pocket, that's where the 2 control knobs would be). Just make sure you do the research you should be doing and buy the correct one!
I'm pretty sure they also differ depending on CA, US, KR models. Do your research!!
Very well constructed, I manhandled it and it was fine. I had a LOT of wires after splicing the radio wire harness PLUS a steering control retention module all jammed behind the radio, and there's not much room to work directly behind the radio in these generation Elantras, so when I had to jam it back in there, I was pretty rough with the housing. It was fine. Looks like a factory install.
Installed JVC KDX250BT, DIN mount looked cleaner and more OEM than ISO so I went with DIN mount. Looks beautiful.
