its a battery

Haven't had spv44 long it starts my car its also summer no test there lol. 2.7 v6 2004 hyundai sonata. It does crank it quick. Also started 1996 Nissan pickup with it 4 cylinder again summer. Came in middle of a big box full of packing peanuts.

Good performance for the price

I have used this product in a system pulling around 1200 watts and it perfomed as specified no problems. I recommend a good alternator in proper working condition and a strong primary battery though to maximize potential of your system

Good backup

I have the older model that was out about 10 years ago and after about 2 years of sitting, it was recharged and put back into my vehicle and works like its brand new. I would only use it as a backup battery if your running close to 2000rms. my main battery doesn't go as low as it did before but this battery goes to around 13v on my 1800 rms amp.

This battery works well. Just make sure it meets or exceeds your power output. For the price you cant beat sonicelectronix. They are the only place i shop for car stereo equipment. thanks sonic!!!

Great for a ford.

I got this to swap out my stock battery in my s-10. It did make a difference in voltage drop compared to the old lead acid battery. I am only running a 800 watt system. I got the GM adapters so I wouldn't have to molest my factory wiring. I had Fosgate battery lugs already to attach my Big 3 set up. Now this #$@^ing Battery is backwards from GM. I didn't realise this until I tech screwed the metal box to my battery tray and doped it in. I had to do A bunch of rewiring of the factory to get it to reach the battery. 15 Minuit job now 2 hours. not a GM drop in be warned!! I would of sent it back but i put holes in the metal box before I realized it was a ford battery. I am a dumb ass. I was just so excited to put it in i wasn't paying attention. Look at the picture its a ford...

Nice battery

Nice battery for its size, this is my second one. The first is still going strong after 11 years. Holds up to heat well, I have mine mounted next to my main battery in the engine compartment.

Cant go wrong for the money

Great li'l battery, have it installed in my trunk, the metal box is great for fabricating a mont to keep it planted and it gives great cranking amps. I accidently left my lights on for 5 hours at work the other day and i didn't need a jump after my shift.
