Got my new kicker KSS690 6x9 component speakers in and did the unboxing and was impressed with the packaging and how they took the time to even have everything in plastic wrap. These speaker look great im a fan of the grills as well simple but stylish. I like that these dome tweeter come with their own pods or if you don't want to use that they have a couple different mounting rings as well. They even give you the template to cut out the 6x9 hole if you was mounting them in a box or something. Since these are a component set they come with their own crossover and the simple use of it would be easy for anyone to understand. It's also clean look like the speakers are. I installed these in my 83 chevy c10 behind the seat. I must say they sound better then I was expecting very clear yet enough bass to bring the highs and vocals together. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their stock set up or those looking to add to their classic ride like I did.
