Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
By using an anodized aluminum voice coil former on their subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate is able to dissipate heat from the voice coil more efficiently. A hot voice coil can melt the adhesive bonds, which will lead to eventual subwoofer failure. The aluminum voice coil former acts as a heat-sink to dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil cool during high SPL conditions.
Conforms to CEA-2031
Rockford Fosgate has built this subwoofer to conform to the CEA-2031 loudspeaker power handling industry standards. This means that you can trust the subwoofer to have the capacity to safely handle the continuous (RMS) power rating. Having a CEA-2031 power handling is important when matching a subwoofer to an amplifier because the power ratings are accurate.
Stitched Tinsel Leads
To improve the reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting, Rockford Fosgate has stitched the tinsel leads to the spider. The multipoint periodic stitching lead wires reduce the mass of the tinsel leads to spread the stress over a greater area. This improves the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.

It's okay i guess
i bought the subwoofer less than six months ago in a box/sub combo. a voice coil went last week, wouldnt. recommend, not a lot of sound.

perfect fit
I would definitely recommend this product especially if you have a very small space. It fit good behind the back seat of my 2000 dodge dakota 4 door. It also sounds amazing.

Nice and Slim
I installed this behind the seat of an '89 Nissan Hardbody Pickup regular cab and gotta admit it does have good sounding bass for its size. Doesn't get in the way of anything, due to its size.

1st Sub
This is my first subwoofer so my experience so far has only been second hand. This 10" adds the perfect amount of bass to my Silverado crew cab. I've got it mated to a RF 500 mono amp and the duo makes my truck boom perfectly. It fits very well behind the 2nd row seats. It won't make the neighbors mad, but it sure does rattle the mirrors. I highly recommend for tight fits an/or entry level budgets.

Great sound for its size
I have this in my 2012 Scion TC. And because my car is a hatchback the sound is amazing. Turns my hatchback into a box. And the bass is good. Would highly recommend this to someone with a hatchback.

Rockford Fosgate R2S-1X10
I would recommend this product! I installed it in to my 2012 Toyota Tacoma behind the back seat of double cab. Pro’s, small and fits in minimal space. Good construction, and pounds HARD! Cons, I can only found one the aesthetics of the sub could look better. But for a cheap sub the is small with lots of punch , it’s a 10 out of 10!

Excellent Design
We installed the R2S-1X10 in a Kia Rio and it looks great and sounds awesome. The sleek, small package allowed us to mount this right behind the back seat and it takes up very little trunk space.

Amazing Sound
We mounted this little beauty in the back of my wife’s Mazda 3. Pushing a clean 200watts to this little guy packs just the “Prime” amount of punch. We’re very happy, and still so much hatchback trunk space left.
