JL Audio's sealed ProWedge subwoofer enclosure is loaded with the 10th Anniversary Edition W7 Series 10" subwoofer. The JL woofer features a peak power rating of 1500 watts and a continuous RMS rating of 750 watts. This sub will produce some ground shaking bass and is constructed with a W-cone woofer design for ultimate durability and a OverRoll surround for excellent excursion and accuracy. Its massive force air-cooled aluminum alloy frame will keep this W7 subwoofer operating at safe temperatures at all times. Since this a special 10th anniversary edition woofer, JL has given it their unique anniversary edition badging and labeling so everyone knows what you're rolling with.
The subwoofer is loaded into high quality V-groove MDF sealed enclosure that is covered with high grade black carpeting. This compact enclosure features a rear firing design that provides a very detailed and smooth response. It also comes equipped with a gloss black laminate front baffle trim that includes engraved JL Audio and W7 logos and 3 stylish brushed aluminum rods that provide protection for the W7 subwoofer. This top-of-the-line loaded enclosure will enhance any vehicles sound system.
Every 10W7 subwoofer is built to exacting quality standards in JL Audio's Miramar, Florida factory. Each of the four models is a completely original design from surround to back-plate (even the bolts and screws used in assembly have been purpose-designed and manufactured to our specifications). It's this attention to detail that delivers the JL Audio quality and performance we have all become accustomed to.
By utilizing space wasted in conventional speakers, JL Audio's ground-breaking OverRoll™ Surround controls the W7's massive excursion without sacrificing precious cone area. In addition, the W-Cone™ assembly delivers astonishing cone stiffness with minimal mass. The shape also provides incredible torsional rigidity, which is critical to maintaining voice coil alignment at the suspension limits. Combined, these two technologies allow for the driver to achieve extraordinary linear excursion (Xmax), therefore providing that rich JL Audio bass.
DMA is JL Audio’s proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis system and is aimed at improving dynamic motor behavior. As a result of DMA optimization, W7AE motors remain linear in motor force over an extreme range of excursion and also maintain a highly stable fixed magnetic field in the gap over a wide power range. This leads to vastly reduced distortion and faithfully reproduced transients... or put simply: tight, clean, articulate bass. Its main catalyst is the driver's Ultra-long Voice Coil, that allows extreme linear excursion, phenomenal power handling and control.

Very nice quality sub
I got the 10 because of trunk space. This thing sounds excellent and produces plenty of volume to rattle the heck out of the interior of my 2012 Elantra. I have a JL Audio 1000v2 driving this and it has the power to smoke this speaker. I would go with the 12 if you have the space, but up to 750 Watt amps this thing will not disappoint you.

WOW!!!!
This sub STOMPS!!! I can't believe its a single 10" driver... I've had two 12's that didn't hit this hard. Not only does it hit hard but it is crazy accurate. Smooth, deep bass that blends flawlessly with the rest of my system - at any listening level. It's just an incredible sounding sub. I am running it with a JL HD900 amp, a pair of JL C5-653's in the front and a pair of JL C5-650's in the rear. This is the best sounding system I have ever had in any of many cars over the years. I cant describe how powerful this sub is. People are shocked to learn I am only running a single 10" sub. Incredible...

THIS SUB ROCKS
This sub is amazing. The bass that it puts out is unbelievable for a 10". This is the first sealed sub that I have used and I must say that I love the hard clean thump a sealed sub delivers. I listen to all types of music from classical to house to reggae and soca, and the sub handles it all well. It is a very compact sub so it allows me to still have lots of space for cargo. The protective bars protect the sub and they look great. I have this sub paired with a JL 600/1 mono amp and it works well. I also bought the dial control for the amp and find that I have to use it because the sub puts out so much bass it hurts my ears. It is a bit pricy but it is well built and sounds great. You wont be disappointed.

this product is amazing. sounds better than majority of systems out there. I only have one of these and it hits really hard and improved sound quality by ALOT.
