The CD drive is The NDX800 features a seven inch touch sensitive illuminated platter perfect for flawless scratching and seamless mixing.
The CD drive of the Numark NDX800 is among the most advanced available with an electronically buffered Anti-Shock skip protection as well as the Auto Cue, Instant Start, and Stutter Start, and Fader Start when lets you start the player by simply moving the crossfader of a compatible mixer. The NDX800 Features a generously equipped DSP engine making a plethora of effects instantly accessible at the flick of the wrist including: phaser, pan, flanger, filter, echo, and chop.
Along with the extensive effects the NDX800 also features beat detection and pitch control tools to aid in harmonic mixing as well as beat matching. The NDX800 will analyze the BPM of a track and display it on the LCD screen. In conjunction with the tap tempo features the this controller offers limitless tempo manipulation.

Numark has done it again!! I've been spinning vinyl for 16 years numark has always been the choice of equipment for me from eq's to processors,mixer and turntables. Since I moved upstate ny from the Bronx ny their was no record stores to buy new vinyl so I purchased the Numark Axis 9's in 2002 and loved them a few years later in 2010 Numark came out with these bad boys ndx800 and i just had to get a pair i've had them since no problems. The touch sensitive pad is great and on point, all the affects are awesome too. There's just so much to list with these bad boys midi controller, usb master for music on a flash drive or an mp3 player except apple ipod. It works well with traxtor pro duo 4 and 8. Overall i would sell this to my mama it's that good of a product lol. I definitely have recommended to friends and family. For the money you can't go wrong!!!
