Works great, keeps the bad guys away.

After both of my cars were broken into I knew it was time for a change. Up until I purchased the NG-100, I was counting on neighbors and the neighborhood to be a deterrent. That didn't work. The best part of the system is the fact that it tracks movement and the light kicks in. Of course, due to the sensitivity, I get a lot of video of the neighbor at night, which is the only time that I have the video capture running. But that is not a problem, it's a feature. In fact my neighbor says that he welcomes it, since the system is actually protecting my driveway as well as his.

For a while I thought that the camera was bad. It turned out that there was ice on the camera lens. The unit lived through some of the worst storms we have had for years, and it's still fine.

I had the unit installed by professionals, an electrician and a building contractor. If you consider it a do it yourself project, you had better be ready to do some serious work.

My only issue is the button on the unit that you need to press when syncing it to the receiver connected to your computer. In my case I needed to call the electrician back, only because I didn't own a ladder long enough to get to the button. My fault, not the manufacturer's.

RTFM, get it installed the right way and it's well worth the cost.
